Do I understand this correctly, you just lay the flower on the tracing table and then just take a picture from above without another lighting?

That's what I did with this one Jim. I had the tablet on the brightest setting and then put a 'filter on it and tweaked it.. I am going to try with a light from above at different angles to see what I get... A lot depends on how dense the flower is as I did some fine flowers on a home made light box and they were good...

Thanks Linda. the only thing is I find the background is bluey not white so I got it white by the white point in levels. I am going to try it in the dark tonight and see if that is better. I used my other one in the dark as the light was not as bright as this one...
