Just for those not in the know, page 1, third post, #2 is NOT Uluru, it is Mount Conner. Most tourist think it is Uluru but they still have about 150 km to go before they seee the real thing.

I'd take a ride in the biplane in an instant. Can't tell in the pic what kind it is, though. Only biplane I've flown in so far was about a 20 min ride in a Pitts with an aerobatic performer. Every so often I'll go to an airshow where someone is selling rides in a Stearman or PT-13. Haven't done it, though. I'd give almost anything for a hop in a P-40 or Mustang or Spitfire, or........

I think its a Sterman about 1938, I would love a ride in it. I used to have a model A coupe paid $25 for it, Had it for two years and sold it for the $25, Now i wish I still had it. Love the photo....
