Seriously? With the $$$ that some of us spend on gear, trips, etc. is a few bucks a year an important factor? Not for me it isn't. And btw, if you take the C1 option that is non-subscription then you don't have to spend any more until you want to.

If you want your Sony raw files to look their best then get Capture One and forget about the rest.

I have been using CO since CaptureOnePro7. It is great RAW post-processing software. I highly recommend looking at the current (last 6 months or so) CaptureOne webinars. I much prefer the recorded version on youtube as I can pause the presentation and try an idea in CO then resume the presentation.

I rarely use Adobe...now that I have C1 & Luminar4, my Fuji files literally “sing” & no subscriptions!
