I Love the alpenglow on Adams. Beautiful color. The moon shot is "super", as well. Think it may be too soon for images of cemeteries, though.
Thank you for commenting. I apologize for any sadness I caused with the cemetery photo. I have photographed it in the past, finding the mementos and closeness of the stones an interesting view of the Yakama culture.

<<5:30 a.m. for the moonset! Last time I photographed at that location (2015), I used a tripod. If I buy a new one, will it be less a pain than attempting to wring out the noise from a high ISO photo? >>

Yes, it will be less a pain, in fact no pain at all. Looking for maximum IQ for large prints, I use a tripod for the great majority of my landscape shots. No noise at ISO 100!

Wow! I had a hard time moving on from the first one. The moon and the early morning lights in the dark houses is stunning. Fortunately I did move on and I loved them all. If you had a noise problem you did a great job on the processing. The downloads are smooth and sharp.

Many thanks Carol! Minnie reminded me yesterday that Nik Dfine has a lot of manual and selective control, so I watched a video on the features. It'll only take me another five viewings to move on from "auto-correct"

I would second the suggestion to consider Topaz DeNoise Ai. It is an amazing bit of software. Looks like you did fine without it but it might have been easier.

I's always a great day when you post photos! All are super, but Mt Adams? That's my favorite. Just gorgeous! Thanks for the treat!

Nice set, Linda. I really like the image of Mount Adams. I don't agree about cropping off the foreground. The little plant down in the lower right really balances the image.

I like all three but 1 & 2 look like they were real balancing acts with the changing light.
I wouldn't crop off part of Mt Adams. The vegetation is more real for me. And, get yourself a light tripod.
Good work.

Thank you for the wonderful thought but I doubt it's possible for me to be wise beyond my years because my years are a very, very large number! And thank you also for your many excellent contributions to UHH.
