Happy World Migratory Bird Day! This year we saw more varieties than ever. Indigo Buntings, Painted Buntings, Rose Breasted Grosbeak, too many to name. The somewhat blurry ones are through my window.
Pg 18 - Beautifully captured, Roxie. Really
enjoyed viewing all of these.

Fresh off the camera. It's like a blizzard out our windows! Winds picking up, temperatures dropping. Birds look confused - people are too. Lilac is budding and the snow is flying...
Pg 18 - I love this series, Pat. In #2, I think the little
critter is saying "What the heck?" and in #3, "OK,
now it's getting cold!"

Poor everyone....so cold and super windy here to! 39 this A.M.-wind chill feels like 20!
Very nice look to all the freezing spring birds-especially those blue babies!
Wow, you're having a heat wave, Judy. It went down to 33ยบ here this morning. Of course we had just planted all our dahlias on Friday, so we had to cover everything up before we went to bed last night with old bed sheets...(we never throw anything away...lol)

Up close and far away.
Up close, our backyard fence. We've moved since this shot was taken.
Far away, the 17 mile drive near Monterey Calif on our way home from the Monterey Bay Aquarium we came across a rock covered in birds and their guano... birdshit.
Puffy head. I don't know what is wrong with this bird but maybe it was just a "bad hair day" lol
Could be a variety of Tuffted Duck..pg. 3

LOL! I mostly go by the seat of my pants! I always forget to name the layers. I mostly just keep playing until I see what I like.
Sharon, you're being entirely too modest! I've been enjoying
your work from the first day I joined UHH, and I have to say,
if you're flying by the seat of your pants, you have incredible
insight, which we all knew anyway.
