Outstanding... looked great on my iPad then I wanted to go to my PC and look on UHH (to try and understand some, unrelated, UHH user answers I received recently)... so your post happened to be what I opened on my PC’s 34” display... I was blown away!

As a side note .. my wife who doesn’t hike .. swim .,,. Go in the sun ., .or get out of the car much..and had never been to Kauai even though I go twice a year to hike and play ., well I took her there .., got the biggest suite the Grand Hyatt has .., living room,dining room bedroom etc with a bottle of Champagne in the frig from the hotel Manager .., in other words .., I made her comfortable as I could ...well , that evening.., I took her to a few of my favorite spots where I always go for photography especially my sunset shots .., as life would have it ...the nats and mosquitoes were out in force ...! ..., my wife said take me home .. I have never seen so many mosquitoes in my life .... the next day.., we flew back to Oahu .,
To this day ...she never wants to return to Kauai .., and refers to it as “Mosquito Island” .... so .. my brother from California and I still go .., waiting for this Virus to blow over ..and will celebrate by going to Kauai again ..

You both make me feel lucky to have my wife. Whenever I decide to go on a trip she’s “how soon can we go, how long can we stay?” Except scuba. Not so much for stuffing her face in the water. I was told I could ease her into it...baby steps..... apparently holding her head under in the bathtub isn’t baby steps.

Mosquitoes and sand fleas in Paradise??? I am crestfallen. I, too, have a wife who is "into nature" on her terms only. She would not consider a vacation as heavy coatings of insect repellant to survive the native culture.
