It has the look of a manufactured image rather than a photograph. I first thought the tree was a PS brush just added to a background. You probably have not done justice to the tree that has fascinated you for quite some time. Maybe a little more detail and clarity on the tree to show that it is not in fact just a brush and manufactured image.
