Lightroom "photo already imported" but not there

What I loath is that your response was prompted by a tiny post from someone calling themselves "fantom", with no picture, no "regular" name, etc. They don't say anything characterizing their use of Lightroom, just a reference to it. I will not go and look them up because I'm sure I will not find a real photographer at the other end of the post.

If you are referring to me Smiley, you are wrong. I don't pretend to be a photographer----my 90K (retained) pix taken on five continents (plus Taxachusettst) notwithstanding.
I might have been one if I had not wasted all my time pursuing higher education and other highly intellectual endeavors. You know, like attempting to master such advanced crafts as arithmetic, the alphabet and learning Lightroom.
