75 years old with heart/lung issues. However, I live in a rural area with no really close neighbors. Hundreds of public acres (managed by WDNR), literally a stones throw away, so as of now I probably will see little disruption of my life. As far as "lock-down"? I don't see that happening in my corner of the world.

Sounds ideal!
Where did you get the gif of the C-130?
That's cool!
My ANG unit flew those.

Good time to get out to usually crowded sites like the natural arch at sunset, or even city ones like the reflective blob in Chicago and capture without people.

Do you mean the "Cosmic Cloud" aka "The Bean"?

Being in lock-down if not an 'if' but a 'when' now.

That said, if you are locked in, what type of image will you create?

Jeep & recovery gear ✅
Canine companion ✅ (Yep! Sequoia loves off-roading!)
Water, etc. ✅
Camera gear ✅

The Song Of The Desert is calling! Mucho trails around here.

Just gotta watch out for Jeepers. They're a friendly sort of creature and might invade my SocialDistancingBubble.

This would be a great time to shoot Manhattan, no crowds. China Town , Little Italy etc.

It would be a gimmick to remember the Coronavirus by,
but a "real" photo of Manhattan needs the crush of people.

I'll be working on converting some of my existing pic to black & white via Nik collection Silver efex. Have not used it that much so far but am finding it to be very entertaining to be able to choose the film, filters & toning. Fun to experiment. I'm also in the country so isolation is pretty normal for me as well. Looking forward to flowers blooming & spring landscapes. Already shooting some local early birds.

Had to cancel a longish trip - so now this gives me the chance to stay in and work on my 4-year backlog of unprocessed photos - been at that for a while already, since we have been in self-imposed voluntary lock-down for over 2 weeks already.

Hopefully this extra time will give me some more push to be a bit more active on UHH - have neglected this for a while.

Since I live in a rural area with a lot of wilderness around...lock down really means just not making a trip into town - which I don't mind at all! As for what type of image to create...hmmm....it will still be wildlife/nature for me.

Montana rocks!

Thanks for the suggestion! I’m just getting the Lightroom/Photoshop subscription so I checked out the courses you suggested and bought them. I wonder if you can get a referral credit or something??

I live in a rural area so I headed to a wildlife refuge to photograph the migrating waterfowl. They were practicing social distancing too apparently. I will try again in a few days.
