I'm rural too, so am not affected much. It gives me an excuse to focus (pun intended) on nature, which is my first love anyway. And it's a good reminder to be very, very grateful for all I have! At different times in my life I've kept a gratitude journal, and it's valuable (and amazing) to actually write down all the positives I usually take for granted.

I will create images I see in my mind and are not photographable.

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area we are under "shelter in place" orders, but we can still leave home for fresh air and exercise, as long as we maintain distance from other people. That leaves plenty of potential for photography.

And if you carry a monopod with you, you can use it to support your camera or to keep passersby 6 feet away from you!

With four kids in from school and college and with nowhere to go I could finally pin them down to work in my portraits.

Drone photography is also in the plans.

No lock down in North Pole, Alaska yet. The elderly and those at high risk have been suggested to stay at home. We had snow yesterday and more on the way. So, no spring blooms yet but the days are reaching early 30's with snow melting. Luckily, the birds have been at the feeder which led to some terrific photo opportunities. A pair of Jay's have been spotted.

If the weather cooperates I'll be walking in Central Park with my camera.

Being in lock-down if not an 'if' but a 'when' now.

That said, if you are locked in, what type of image will you create?

I will spend more time in Authur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, well, until they close. I never get close to anyone there, big place. So, 6 feet social distance is no problem. It is rare when I am within 100 yards of someone.
I will also spend time making photo books and getting ahead of my post processing needs, I have quite a back log.

If you have a tabby, then (if you are not already aware) they make great photos - loads of natural contrast, make auto focus spot-on, with color and tone no problem. Sharpness is pretty much guaranteed.
