I agree with China having self interests.....and they are not about to start being honest now. China has no interest in it being an international threat. They are for themselves. I think we are better off in the US due to the honesty.

Hi Trix and everybody:

Sad to see the thread got sidetracked from its main purpose: educate and update one another to posts that provoke negative reactions.

Matter of fact, I initially posted the topic in the Chit-chat section but administration moved it to the Attic. I'll be glad to start this topic again and post it in the chit-chat. I encourage everyone to stay focused as to the goal of the post that is, to educate, inform, and update (based on legitimate/accepted facts) one another on how we, as a community, can better combat, for lack of better word (or cope, deal with), this crisis. We're all in this together. C****av***s is the enemy not one another.

I was going to post an update here but it appears, better to start a new one as you suggested because of the exchange of harsh words in some posts. I'll take your advice and start a new one in Chit-chat section with reminder to be civil with postings of remarks/responses. Watch for a new post about the topic in Chit-chat coming in an hour or so.

This is the last time I take the bait and the insults. I am wasting much too much time on you.

Let me try to make this simple:

Now, notice how your subject of that incomplete sentence is the idea "eat"

Next I posted "And what in particular is evil or dangerous about Rhino horns? "
and you cleverly responded " I DON'T know pal....YOU tell me.... "

First you are not and never will be my pal. I thought I was responding to EATING Rhino horns (which seemed to be the last thing to which you were referring)

You then posted the photo of a slaughtered Rhino which I will assume was butchered for its horn. I conceded that I had not taken into consideration the hunting and k*****g of an endangered species to purely to obtain consumer product. I am as offended by this being done as I suspect you are. (Wow, we might even agree on this singular detail).

I then pointed out, largely because of your insulting and irrelevant accusation about me ("And JUST who the F are you?......never seen your posts here before") that use of the English language requires nuance to obtain understanding. There IS nothing inherently evil about eating anything - - - only when the anything being eaten is obtained immorally or illegally.

Now I will ignore the photo (is that REALLY the best you can do?). However your latest post: "So.....how would you get one without the other? Petri dish?" I assume (because as I have said and you have demonstrated, clarity is not your talent) that what you are trying to express is that there is no way to obtain Rhino Horn dust without slaughtering an animal. Well, you are wrong once again. It is conceivable, although unlikely, that it COULD come from a deceased animal and perhaps have even been harvested legally.

Not once have you conceded that you could be wrong about anything either of us has written. I do not know (or care) how old you are, but self awareness and modesty are wonderful things.
