I was driving down a back road when I came upon this old tractor. It was the back wheels that initially caught my attention, so I turned around and had a look. A McCormick Deering Tractor -- Never heard of them. So, I took a shot.

I'm betting someone on UHH may be familiar with these old things.

Nice shot

Nice shot. McCormick-Deering was the forerunner to Farmall/International Harvester; I can’t remember the year they changed the name. Some (maybe all?) of the early Farmalls had the McCormick-Deering name in small letters under the Farmall brand. We had Allis-Chalmers tractors, but the fellow we traded work with a lot had Farmalls; consequently, I drove one of them a lot.

Yes, I am aware of that. I just wanted to know if someone here was familiar with these old tractors, and some were.. For me, that was good to know. Thanks for your comment, Collhar.
