Obama was very vulnorable on any number of things. Romney should have taken advanage of this vulnerabilities, he didn't and he lost. Maybr he is still bitter and that's why he v**ed the way he did.

Look at the polls at the time......Mitt lost because he backed down from a second rate newsperson/moderator who fought FOR Obama in the debate and Mitt was afraid to confront her and her lies. His polls started tanking within minutes of that backdown.

THAT was the moment people realized Mitt wouldn’t, or couldn’t, stand up to a Putin or any other world leader.

Romney manned up only as he should have done as a US senator with an inkling of integrity.
The Senators who v**ed to not include witnesses, v**ed to acquit in the face of absolute abuse of power and obstruction; should be the recipients of our attention, and scorn.

In other words, you believe that only people, senators in this case, who side with your point of view have integrity.

Newsflash, slim...... your side was wrong.

Again....you believe only those who agree with you have morals, but you and your side are wrong on the morals.

You know. Everyone knows this impeachment was more a political tool and the thinnest of any in history. And it signals a dangerous trend in our politics going forward. With all that in mind, the right thing to do was to v**e against this impeachment. Anyone with historical perspective sees this now. Principled Democrats should have v**ed against it. This shows an incapacity for Romney to see the big picture. It will not get better for Romney going forward.

Romney says he v**ed his conscience which could still be biased over past actions. He did NOT v**e the facts/evidence. The true facts are in the transcript which was released by the White House. All of the witnesses called by the House gave statements which were based on the meaning of what the witness thought was said. This is NOT factual on what had been said. What you think was said is not evidence for it is biased in the direction of what that witness thinks and feels. Further, since the House did not call other witnesses is their problem. They should have called Bolton and others before they brought the articles of impeachment before the Senate. It is not the Senate's responsibility to call new witnesses for impeachment which the House should have. Thus the managers from the House only came half prepared with the facts.

It is reprehensible, sad, and destructive that one senator let his TDS dictate his v**e against the president he h**ed. He will make a perfect democrat.

I agree with your assessment. It was Senator Romney's v**e to do with as he wished and I suspect he still feels the sting of Trump from years back. I do believe that Romney should have v**ed "Present" rather than Yes or No.

As far as Obama goes, he played the race card in spades in addition to the love affair with the main media. Anybody that pays to have their college transcripts sealed has something to hide and I suspect that he applied as a foreign student for an admissions aid assistance. How fortunate for him that he left office with much more wealth than when he took office. Exactly how did that happen?

Relax, I know nothing about anybody’s conscience except my own.

And it’s plain to see you have no conscience.
