I'm rooting for the Chiefs also. I lived in KC during the late '60s/early '70s when they had some great teams. Still think Len Dawson is one of the most underrated QB's in football. I believe he was the last major football league QB to call his own plays.
The Kansas City Chiefs were in the very first Superbowl, 1967. I remember Len Dawson, he was a great quarterback. He got clobbered by the late Bart Star of Green Bay in that Superbowl. Dawson played before the AFL-NFL merger of 1970. The previous year, 1969, Joe Namath and the New York Jets defeated the mighty Baltimore Colts.
an "Old" KC boy rootin for the chiefs and I am in total agreement with the latter portion of your post
Sure hate what my grandkids are going to inherit as far as their future

I remember that in their first game after Superbowl 1, the Chiefs took out their frustrations on the Cleveland Browns and just destroyed them.
The mentality of some other Packer fans dictates that the team that beat the Packers better be good enough to go all the way. Otherwise, how could they beat the Packers. I really don't care. I don't like football, but if you live in Wisconsin, you like the Packers or someone will drive you to the middle of Lake Michigan (if it freezes over) and leave you to walk back. Just sayin. . .

The Cleveland Browns, as old the Franchise is, has never been to a Superbowl, to even lose the game. Today, they are the most mismanaged NFL team. From top to bottom. They just hired a new coach and GM. They decided to go with the young this time around. Nothing wrong with hiring a GM in his 30s..So long as he knows how to do the job.
Andy Reid, coach of the KC Chiefs, lost a Superbowl game, when he was coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, to the Patriots. Tom Brady was quarterback. What could be sweeter, than for the Chiefs, to give Andy Reid his first Superbowl win. On the 50th Anniversary, of when they last won it.

I just cant get with it. My Eagles flew the coop.
I’m pretty sure of two things.
The team with the higher score will leave with trophy.
The other thing is that my breakfast will taste the same on Monday morning as it does on any other day of the week.

The upcoming Superbowl Game will happen this Sunday. The San Francisco 49ers vs the Kansas City Chiefs. The Kansas City Chiefs have not been to a Superbowl in 50 years, 1970, when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings. San Francisco has won several Superbowl games, under the Quarterback Joe Montana. When Joe Montana left the 49ers, he became the starting Quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs. He didn't achieve a Superbowl for them, and retired permanently. But, he left his heart in San Francisco. Joe Montana and Jerry Rice will be in Miami. There will be two, young, very good Quarterbacks on each team. What team do you think will bring home that trophy?

If Carson Wentz had not been injured early in that playoff game. The results may have been different. His body is prone to injuries. Or, he is just plain unlucky.
KC CHIEFS...Red, White and Gold. Give em the old "65 Toss Power trap" on two boys.
