The upcoming Superbowl Game will happen this Sunday. The San Francisco 49ers vs the Kansas City Chiefs. The Kansas City Chiefs have not been to a Superbowl in 50 years, 1970, when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings. San Francisco has won several Superbowl games, under the Quarterback Joe Montana. When Joe Montana left the 49ers, he became the starting Quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs. He didn't achieve a Superbowl for them, and retired permanently. But, he left his heart in San Francisco. Joe Montana and Jerry Rice will be in Miami. There will be two, young, very good Quarterbacks on each team. What team do you think will bring home that trophy?
Go Chiefs! I really like quarterback Patrick Mahomes and besides 50 years is long enough. They’re due!
I want the Chiefs to win. But, after seeing the Niners take apart the Packers, . . . .
Jimmy G vs Patrick MaHomes. Jimmy G was backup to Tom Brady of the Patriots. Tom Brady was responsible for Jimmy G to get traded to San Francisco. By going to owner Robert Kraft, without telling Coach Belichick. Now, Tom Brady will get to see Jimmy G on TV, in the Superbowl. And, I don't think Coach Belichick is very happy about it. Jimmy G was to be Brady's replacement, upon retiring.

Don’t care. Quit watching NFL 8 or 9 years ago, ever since they turned political and disrespectful to our national flag. In addition to their crappy display of jumping up and down saying look at me I did something great. When all they are doing is what they are paid to do. Jim Brown and Earl Campbell never did that showboating crap. I despise the game as it is played today and despise the protest they do.

I will root for KC, but no matter who wins, it should be a good game!

One of my per peeves is when someone makes a first down and imitates the ref in signaling it.
Hype. I don't get it. You all realize it's just a game, and the result won't matter. In a year most people (that don't live in KC or SF) won't remember who was even playing in it. Don't believe me? Who was in last year's? Be honest and don't Google it. I bet half the population knows who is playing this year, and fewer than 5 percent could name last year's teams.
At the same time we have the opportunity to witness or 3 branches of government wrestle with political corruption and see our elected officials who put party before truth or their constitutional duty (the ramifications of which will last a very long time) and most people I know couldn't give a crap.
It's really sad what people find important. Have a nice day.

I'm rooting for the Chiefs also. I lived in KC during the late '60s/early '70s when they had some great teams. Still think Len Dawson is one of the most underrated QB's in football. I believe he was the last major football league QB to call his own plays.

Maybe you don't pay attention to the ATTIC.
There's plenty of political discussion going on there.
We're not 1 dimensional in how many things we can pay to at the same time.
So many times in the Super Bowl, the team that should win for some reason does not. I like to look at which team has more teammates that have been to the big one before to help their other teammates who have not. I like the Chiefs but I think 49ers have more players who have been there before. it should be a good game.
