I will relate a funny episode from many years ago where stature played a significant role. Sorry about the length of the narrative, but it was very amusing to see.
And part of it was our expectation that an actor should be taller! Funny, funny story--poor kids!
Ever notice that many magician assistants are short and limber? There is a reason for that.
Here go's Tim, Mr. weirdo.
What about a standard valise? Shoot on location like an air port, bus terminal? Install a clear plex side so the valise is closed, but the viewer sees in. Placing the woman in a container is that first step, BUT it is the potential created by location/context that creates the 'tension' for the image becoming.
At a hotel, with a luggage cart and stacks of luggage on top of the cart, perhaps a 'bell hop' conducting the cart along the general reception area. Then, as the cart goes by, a business man reading a new paper, glancing over at the passing cart, smiling head turned, and next to him his pasty face wifey has a shocked expression, leaning forward, pointing with her finger, mouth open. Of course the bell hope would need to be young, perhaps looking like a senior in high school, but with a bored look on his face, trudging along (another day at mindless work)?
Lots of potential in many scenarios!
