Typically the snowpack moves up and down some as the temps change. But this year it rained at the house while the park was getting buried. Snow didn’t start to pile up until the the last day or two of December at the house. Maybe once a decade we get no appreciable snow at the house. Some folks have water well trouble when that happens because the soil here is mostly pumice from the Mt Mazama eruption so the water passes through it readily. It can be fickle here.
