Nice shot as it is--interesting.

I’ll bet you could have done a lot with the abandoned building, too.

Thanks John. It was located in a part of town that I was warned by people who live there not to walk around alone, so I stayed near my car on the street. There were several buildings that I would have loved to be able to go in.

Not exactly: "Leaving the place as you found it?"

I find the cropped photo more compelling. Thank you.

Thanks for checking in Paul. This was in 1999 and I've not been back since. There were quite a few old abandoned factories around back then, don't know the current situation.

This was captured on Kodax TMX and developed in Rodinal in 1999, using my Mamiya C333 TLR. The Rodinal development made for very contrasty negs which are a little more difficult to PP in Photoshop. Winter time here in Nebraska is a good time to catch up on processing old images.

I do like it and it takes me back to the dk rm and all those long days. Thanks for your efforts.

I like the second one better. I would title it "Decay". A poignant reminder of places I have seen in my life. Thank you for posting.

Would love to know where this was taken in Birmingham. My Dad worked for US Steel and I swear he took me to that shop as a young un!!
