He does have a bit of history to explain it. 23.5 years as an Army Medic with about 10 years each in Germany and South Korea(as a platoon medic patrolling the DMZ for about 4 years when he first went over seas). He has almost zero fond memories of snow and cold weather.

Our youngest Uncle served in Germany during the Korean War patrolling a river that was the border, his tank on one side and a soviet tank pacing them on the other. He refused to eat outside because he said he spent too much time watching mashed potatoes turn to cold potato soup from cold rain or melting snow.

Nice series of winter photos, Sue. My favorite is that excellent shot of the covered bridge.
