Gorgeous photo and love the foreground, middle ground, background compostion (my personal favorite)!! Definitely a wall hanger!!!

In the thumbnail there is a bright area a bit right of center that I like. That seems to kind of go away in the download.
(it might be my eyes though)

I love the photograph. Not a lot of light but what light is there causes the water to sparkle.
I would want to drop a fly into that water right then and there. My brain says yes while my fingers and toes, used to fishing in icy water, tell me, No dad, No.

Like I said, it could be my eyes, they are known to be bad. And if no one else sees it, it is them!

I used bracketing, so I could shoot into the sun fairly confidently, knowing that the highlights would be safe. It was cold enough just hanging around long enough to take the shots. A morning of fishing would require industrial strength thermal underwear
