Cool rmm0605, you like the Christmas tree with the manipulated surroundings! Thanks rmm0605 for your opinion.

Thanks so much Rusty..........I shot the bokeh with an amazing lens......the Canon f2 135 L series prime. The quality and sharpness blows my mind and makes me a better photographer!!!! It’s also an amazing lens for portraits with the bokeh.

Recently we were asked to photograph the San Juan Capistrano Mission for our final project before the semester ends. Aside from a few, most of the class posted rather boring photos. I tried to think with my creative hat on to do something different. We also were asked to post bokeh photos.
These all look best in download mode.

#4 is great!

#1 is inspiring, Brent. Beautiful lighting, beautiful shadows on the arches. I am also drawn to the Christmas tree in #4, the lone tree by that beautiful textured wall just makes one contemplative. If your prof is grading on a curve, most of the class is going to hate you. Or maybe they'll get inspired!

Well Carly, I do sincerely hope that my photos can inspire my fellow UHH members to learn, grow and increase their creative skills hidden under the surface. I believe that everyone can improve on their photography (myself included) if they apply themselves and try new techniques and concepts to expand their versitility. My professor is NOT grading on a curve and NOT grading at all! This class is for emeritus students and I kind of like it since there is no pressure whatsoever! For me personally, I have had many of the students in our class let me know how much they love my photography. Of course that really does make me very happy. I do like what you said about "Or maybe they'll get inspired!". If I can make a positive influence on fellow photographers to use their God Given talents and artistic skills to produce exceptional photos I am a happy camper.

Very few people can compete with your innovative mindset. Lovely photos and the bokeh. Congratulations!
Let us know how the prof responds.
