Brent, I've enjoyed your "masterful" surfing imagery for a considerable length of time here on UHH... Fully realizing how challenging it must be... It is obvious you cherish this sport and assume you've enjoyed countless blissful hours on your board awaiting the next big wave... Southern California is a surfer's dream and you are so fortunate to be located there...

Again I have come to believe it is the journey that matters not so much the destination or milestones along the way... For my own endeavors it is creating imagery showcasing the individuals I photograph at their very best... all the while weaving an interesting narrative into the mix... hope this make sense...

You're way too kind Vicki... Heather deserves all the credit here... she's a gifted ballerina who knows how to visualizing a narrative to underscore its meaning and translate concepts into compelling metaphors...

As long as I'm able I'll continue to endeavor to post in the "People" forum... In my humble estimation portraiture is highest and finest use of photography... being able to rendering memorable moments of a person's journey is a precious gift that can only grow in worth and value to all who know them...
