Photoshop Elements 15 Problem

I use PSE 12, mostly, and this happens frequently. Just double-click on the image and it will open up. Hope this helps.

I've been using PSE 13 & Lightroom 5.7 on my Win 10 computer with few issues other than neither program recognizes my D500. I've noticed that Adobe products are glitchy from time to time. Hope you get your issues resolved soon!

I have been using Elements 2018, with a similar situation. If you go to Edit --> Preferences --> General, a window will open with choices for editing. See if the box for "Allow windows to float in Expert Mode" is checked. If it's checked, the photos will open in a small area in the upper left of the window. If unchecked, the photos will open fully in the middle of the editing window.
