Another thought,
I have and feel very comfortable with PSE 15. However, I am now forced to go to 2020 by the nature of my using a Mac. If I understand correctly, any app using 32 Bits will no longer be welcomed in the Apple World.

If I had my druthers, I would stay with '15' But on the other hand, from what I read here, 2020 is not so very different; which means to me that upgrading should not have a steep learning curve.

I am thankful for small favors

Bogo

Not sure what you mean about 32 bits. My Elements 15 is running on a 64 bit computer .I7 Win 10. Has been a while since I loaded it, but believe you choose between 32 and 64 bit when you download.

Elements 20920 has many enhancements versus your old version. Check B & H Photo and Amazon for special pricing this week. Otherwise, list price is $99.99.

Elements 2020 is on sale at Staples this week for $60.00...The only problem with older Elements programs is whether they will work with Windows 10 & any new printer...

Elements or Photoshop?

Depends on what type of photographer you are. If your a SOOC then elements is great. While the differences between your current version and the 2020 version may be small its always beneficial to run the latest.

If your a RAW shooter who endeavors to create the scene that unfolded for you then Photoshop is the only way to go. Yes, the learning curve for Photoshop is longer but the voyage of discovery is so worth it.
Photoshop has always offered significantly more editing functionality than Elements, Lightroom or any other editing software. Yes, it costs $10/month. Most people waste $10 a month on junk food, coffee, soda, or alcoholic beverages.

What ever way you decide to go, have a great journey.

There's also an "in-between" option: Photoshop Elements with Elements+
Cost is a one-time US$12.00
There is a free demo downloadable from the website.
If there are updates to the version you bought, they are free.
Also a long list of the features of the various versions, all can be found here:

https://elementsplus.net/

NOTE: If you decide to go with Elements+, make sure you buy the correct version for your PSE.

You can find it here: https://elementsplus.net/

Thanks. Checked out the list of features that are available once basic elements is unlocked.
Looks like an excellent learning tool to get a basic understanding of some of the more complex features in Photoshop.
Happy Holidays

Has anyone purchased or heard whether or not the newest PhotoShop Elements us worth the money? I currently have Elements 15, and am pretty happy with it, so am wondering if 2020 is worth the money?

Although, I AM "building a case for a replacement laptop"( as a Costco Concierge employee put it) for a dead Dell laptop still under Costco's two year warranty. So I will most likely have to buy another photo editing software if some kind, since I have used up PhotoShop's one computer allowance.

Do any ideas or advice anyone has regarding PhotoShop, or any other comparable photo editing software would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
PhotoNat

There is no problem you reinstalling your copy of Elements 2015 onto a new computer and continuing to use it. The "one computer" restriction simply means you can only USE it on one computer at a time. If you happened to have three computers, you'd be free to install it on all of them, but can't use it on all of them at the same time.

However you might want to look into what's new in Elements 2020 and grab it while it's on sale for $70 (reg. $100).

There are two reasons to update... One is when you get a new camera that's not supported by your older version. The other reason is new features that have been added which you might find useful.

This page on the Adobe website can help you compare the features of your current version with this latest version: https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/buying-guide.html

Note: If you shoot video, too, the bundle with both Photoshop Elements 2020 (still photos) and Premiere Elements 2020 (video) is also on sale. It's currently $100 (regularly $150).

I have PSE 15 on two diferent laptops and a desktop, each with Windows 10. PSE 15 works perfectly on them. I have had two different printers connected, wireless, to each and no problems there either.

I purchased Elements 2020 for $60. It is a small price for an upgrade. Yours is far enough behind where you will see the difference.
But id the one that you have does all that you need, then you can stay with it. I think that it is worth the upgrade, but if you don't need it, stay with what you have.

Here are the differences between the different Elements...
https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/buying-guide.html

And Adobe says that you can have their program on two computers. I have never had a problem with it on three at the same time. Esp because your old one is so old, I would not worry about that. Adobe has other things to worry about other than if you are using an old program on too many computers.
