Our first stop on the cruise of the Seine to Normandy was a river town called Conflans and nearby was the town of Auvers-sur-Oise, a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris. It is about 27 KM from the center of Paris. It is associated with several famous artists, the most prominent being Vincent van Gogh. He died here and was buried here along with his brother Theo. I was unable to handle the walking required for this visit but my wife and daughter we able to go and these are my wife's pictures. Taken on her iPhone 11

Thank you Doddy, my wife and daughter did good. I remained on level ground along the river front in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine with the easy walking group. May post some shots of the converted river boats one of which was transformed into a church.

Thank you Earnest for your kind comments. Glad you liked them. It is great to have extra eyes and good legs when there is a site you want to visit but just can’t quite get there.

Thank you very much Annie, my ‘Girls” are thrilled with the many nice comments by you Hoggers. She and my daughter give me access to many places I would otherwise not get to see.
