A Walk With Van Gogh, Auvers-sur-Oise, France

Our first stop on the cruise of the Seine to Normandy was a river town called Conflans and nearby was the town of Auvers-sur-Oise, a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris. It is about 27 KM from the center of Paris. It is associated with several famous artists, the most prominent being Vincent van Gogh. He died here and was buried here along with his brother Theo. I was unable to handle the walking required for this visit but my wife and daughter we able to go and these are my wife's pictures. Taken on her iPhone 11

Your wife did a great job. Tell her thanksMy pleasure Stan, thank you for looking and commenting, I will certainly tell her. There will be some more coming along as I have a bit of a handicap and trouble walking especially on hills. She often has to substitute for my eyes and ears.
