"T'is the season" my eldest grandson and I have a "together day". It has taken a variety of forms through the years but always concludes with the Portland Symphony's production "The Magic of Christmas" and horse wagon rides through the heart of Portland. This will be our 9th or 10th year. Model train exhibit is always a highlight, but that is slowly being replaced by Christmas shopping for his family. Lunch, walking through Portland - cameras in hand - then the symphony and wagon rides. Pick up a pizza on the way home and he spends the night. I asked him how long he wanted to do this and should we do something different - "Grammie will will do this till you die. And when you can't walk I will push you in a wheelchair. And if I'm married before then, my wife and I will bring you." (He is 14 1/2) He reminds me that in 4 years, HE will be the driver! Definitely "T'is the Season"...for making memories. Last year...
