Yes, I appreciate your help, I edited my previous post to indicate that I'm using a Mac and Catalina. I'm a pretty old guy, but fairly meticulous when it comes to this stuff. Unfortunately, both my grandsons are away a college. I'm willing to listen to anything you got.

Thanks for that link. At a quick glance, he says the update is only compatible with software up to 10.14, Catalina is 10.15--I will have to go back and check out the compatibility. Not everything is up to date with Catalina yet.

Sony download site does say it's compatible with 10.15. Brian's installation method is slightly different that Sony's--I'll try that tomorrow.
