Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing. Brings back a great memory from 2006 when we spent a week riding around Colorado on our motorcycles. The Black Canyon of the Gunnison was one of the highlights.

Very nice detail... I was there once on an Easter Sunday and due to the canyon's depth and orientation it was very hard to get adequate light in the canyon itself. Your capture is a whole lot better than mine.

Pretty flat light so not much shadow
Wow!!! That is a beautiful shot.
I agree with MrBob. I was there a few years ago but couldn't get a photo any where near as nice as yours. I'll have to give it another try now that I know it's possible. Was this taken around noon time? I remember the rocks being a lot darker-nearly black, hence the name. It is a beautiful shot!
Been there several times. Nice job.
Nice shot on a nice soft light day.
I was there early on a sunny day and it is a difficult shoot.
Steep canyons, bright light, deep shadow, dark cliffs.
Great spot to visit.
Another great image, Rick. Always wanted to go there, just haven't made it yet.
Very nice shot of a difficult area to get a nice shot, IMO! We have visited 3 or 4 times the last 30 years, could not believe it was not a National Park the first time. They made it a National Park in 1999 I believe. Thanks for sharing.
