Glad you shared these. It was cloudy all day in Anacortes and there was no chance of a view or shot.

Anacortes is one of my favorite places, but I'd be hard pressed to do any astronomy there.
You are welcome. I've only been able to do any astro stuff twice in Galveston since last April. Either clouds, storms, heat, humidity, salt spray or mosquitoes. I got lucky because after the clouds passed over we have had 30-45mph wind until now and it got down to 39 this morning. I'm heading back to Arizona.
Thank You UTMike. How did the weather treat you?
Makes one feel rather insignificant when you consider the size of the sun to our planet and then to us. We don't even make up a drop in the bucket... Ah well. Great pictures thank you for sharing.
Wow. Very nice shot. I did not realize you could capture it with 600mm. Good work and thanks for sharing.

I took these images for two reasons:
1. To get the transit
2. To see how well the Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens works.
I did crop the original image to get a larger view, but it did prove to me the lens performs very well at 600mm with care in focusing. Thanks for your comment.
It’s impressive performance
