One A Day, Day 106.
Nigel had a fine new idea for an alternative shoot with Serena in which she would become a new persona, that of BLACK ROSZ. This is what came from that rethinking of the session shown in One A Day, Day 105.

On the technical side, these images would be much better if you went for less motion blur and more depth of field. Perhaps 1/4000 at f/128.

I just added the lens cap to make sure...
And on Day 107 Timmers rested.
These photos gave me a great idea. Maybe I’ll start looking for models by hanging out in front of the court house!! 🤮

Well, I finally got past the lovely young lady who was very poorly portrayed in these photos, and I noticed the bent-over candle. If that is what happens after too much exposure to nudity I am going to stop visiting this section!!!
But seriously, Tim, you tell us that your images are carefully crafted with a lot of thought given to everything about them. I can guess at the meaning/reference/purpose/suggestion of some of the paraphernalia in the background, but what does the candle signify?
Now, at the risk of narrating à la Tim I will tell you why the candle "stands out" (pun?) to me. I got married on a very warm day in June. The reception was at the banquet hall that my parent's owned and operated, and it had no air conditioning. There was a small candle in the kitchen that I guess got very warm from the heat of the day and the heat of the stoves preparing the food, and the candle bent over much like the one in Tim's photo. I hoped it was not a foreboding of my future... and I am happy to report it was not.
