Today I took a drive up to Eklutna Lake, a lake in the Chugach Mountains northeast of Anchorage. It is the principle source of fresh water for Anchorage. Eklutna Lake sits 10 miles off mile 26 of the Glenn Hwy. It’s quite a beautiful place, and while I was disappointed that it was in the shade, the tops of the mountains were in the sun and the water was almost perfectly calm, showing wonderful reflections. Here’s a couple taken with my Sony RX100 M7. No editing, SOOC. Best quality is in download.

Beautiful. Those Sony RX's are amazing cameras in such a tiny package.
Very Impressive photos. The water's mirror is superior to any real mirror.
Amazing reflections. Nice work you did.

Thanks, much appreciated. It was fairly dark in the parking lot, due to the shadows. The mountains are quite high, and the sun was already getting low. As I walked toward the lake, I noticed the peaks catching the sun and that great reflection on the water. Great experience.
Thank you, Mike. The light and water were just right up there.

Excellent set.
Thanks, Angler. Always good to see your replies.
How could anyone not like those. What focal length were the first two? You and your camera did a great job.
