Does anyone out there have one of those Arsenal attachments for you DSLR?

Are they worth it for time lapse photos?

John

Do your research on this project.
I personally know nothing about the "Arsenal", so I can give No Advice, sorry.

Do your research before giving a useless answer to a question.

I don't have one but as far as Time Lapse goes I manage perfectly well with the controls within my camera.

There are also aps that you can get to control time lapse functions for your camera.

Look in the UHH archives. This question comes up every few weeks and has been covered extensively.

I have one of these, but find it too cumbersome to use. Almost every time I turn it on, it needs to update. Not very happy with it

I have one, and the answer is a BIG "NO"! They are time consuming to use. The only plus that I can think of, is if you want to take "selfie's" and you are not in a hurry.

Perhaps you should do some research on how not to be a #%@ hole.

Then why on Earth did you bother replying when you have nothing useful to add?

There are a couple of threads on it. They support comments above.

Here are some UHH threads on the subject

In a nutshell, most seem to find little value in the much touted AI controlling your whole camera and basically replacing the photographer aspect of the product. Since that is what the PR seems to focus on it tends to make people discount the whole product.
Others seem to like the more focused features like photo stacking, long exposure and time lapse that simply relieve the photographer from having to to do things in a more tedious manner.

I agree. I think that missed the whole point of this forum.

Arsenal is about as useless as both your reply and the post to which you made your reply.

Being relatively new to this forum I found this response the most useful. Especially including the links! As to the others, this forum is part of my research. Along with other websites and reviews. I might also suggest to others, that some of these responses turn people off. If someone makes a bad or non-helpful response let the person who is asking for information figure out that it is a bad response. Most people like myself are looking for information. It is up to us to decide what we read, how to interpret it and if it provides any value.

In a nutshell, everyone is entitled to their opinion, it does not mean I have to agree.

Thank you to all!
