Egads, you and Wrongo could probably run a clinic on this and I'd be an occasional patient ... and/or maybe a therapist?

That was fun

I found an article about the history of this image. Two artists in India made the paper bird and the ceramic branch and posted it on line to show off their bird miniature skills with a correct description of the bird and where it is found. I think this was Oct 2017. It has been shared and passed on thousands of times but from the site of someone who copied the picture and posted it with the "smallest bird" caption and story. This seems to have happened in France.
It has been deceiving a lot of people ever since.
I found an article about the history of this image... (show quote)

Thanks for the intelligence Robert.

I reckon it can be unreasonable to expect a poster to read every post in a thread.
I'm a multiple offender... of just reading the OP and then responding with an answer.
Especially if there's more than a single page. And often there's 10 or more pages
to the thread.

No doubt I'm not the only one who doesn't have the time, energy or will to read
pages and pages of responses, often on a subject that has little gravitas.

So maybe one should make allowances for that syndrome...

If there were no repetition, UHH would be a ghost town. But, ponder this: if you don't read what anyone else wrote and they don't read what you wrote, does "Abo" exist? (Does a tree falling in a forest...)

Ask any woman the question, “If a man gives his opinion in a forest with no one around, is he still wrong?”

Good point Linda,

but maybe some can't see the forest for the trees.

Obviously I read the OPs post, plus the post I quoted...
and now, your response to my post too.

What if in reality you don't exist; but are just a flow of electrons
in a computer program? "Linda" being part of that program...
and an intrinsic part of that program, created all the experiences "you"
"believe" "you" have had, and programs "you" to
"believe" that "you" are a real human, made of flesh and blood
with feelings?

Pardon my intruding into your pseudo-intellectual existential dialogue, Abo, but were your question directed at me, I’d have replied, "Yeah? So? What’s that got to do with the price of tea in China?"

You're pardoned.

But seeing as you don't understand the connection between Lindas:

"if you don't read what anyone else wrote and they don't read what you wrote, does "Abo" exist? (Does a tree falling in a forest...)"

and my response to that:

"Good point Linda,

and you have to ask: "What’s that got to do with the price of tea in China?"...
obviously you have not got the capacity to know if a dialog is "pseudo-intellectual existential" or not.
Your level of logic and reason is on a par with a short fence post bud.

I am sorry that I am such a dimwit. I don’t even understand what your metaphorical expression "short fence post" means. But now I know that, aside from the possibility that you might be able to communicate photography concepts clearly, I shall steer clear of one so supercilious as you. Evidently, your insult at the end indicates that you did not "pardon" me and that you either cannot or will not explain what you wrote, let alone its pertinence. I guess you don’t have to, but logically, this leads me to conclude that my "tea in China" assessment is spot on.

Thanks ..... bud

""tea in China" assessment is spot on." Yep, and the Kennedys don't have black clothes.

You cite me as insulting; but how I described your ability of logic and reason being equal to or less than
a short fence posts ability to reason was a partly, a response of your insulting me
by writing my post was "pseudo intellectual"!!! you have just proved you are a hypocrite as well
as having the logic and reason of a short fence post... what next bud?
