Everything seems to be in good working order on both camera & lens. The only thing I haven't checked is the internal light meter. I've been too cheap to buy a battery to check it out. The lens is an Asahi SMC Takamura f1.4 50mm with m42 screw mount. The lens is free of fungus, oil, scratches or any defects that I can find. The body has some scratches on base plate and one small scuff on the top near the prism area, otherwise totally clean of defects. I'm asking $85 for both which includes postage to lower 48 states. If interested PM me.
One of the classic cameras of the early 1970s along with Minolta ST101 and of course Nikon F and Nikkormat cameras.
I’d like to have it but I’m to cheap to buy it.
You are little too high on your price, That is a $40.00 to $50.00 camera. That not shipping cost add in.

Is the battery compartment clean and free of corrosion? What battery does it use?
My first SLR in 1964, loved it.
There are several batteries that will work. The one that came out of the camera was a PX13 The battery compartment is clean and has no corrosion. The battery was just dead.
To Bill 45 The camera body can be found on e-bay.com for a low of $18 to $20 (as is & for parts) to a high of $400+ for a refurbished; yes that one is ridiculous. The average body is around $30 to $40. The lens prices run from about $30 to $110. I did see one for $10.(it may be good but I wouldn't take a chance.) Most lens like mine are priced between $40 & $70. So I think $70 plus $15 postage is reasonable for the package.

I would say that his is a good price, that is a Pentax Takumar SMC 50mm f/1.4 lens which is a well respected and under valued lens that performs way above the asking price.
BTW, it is rude to call someone out on their asking price in the classified ad, if you think you need to make that type of comment it is more appropriate to do so in an IM. Pricing opinions should not be allowed in the classified section.
I believe you will find the px13 is too large. The rm400 is quite small and, as far as I remember, the only battery that will work
You may be correct. However when I took the cover off the battery compartment a PX13 fell out. Looked on the Pentax site & discussion forum and several different batteries were recommended. I was more interested in the lens so didn't worry about it.
