photos from Columcille Megalith Park in Bangor, PA. I've lived in PA for more than 50 years, and this place is less than an hour's drive from my house. But I had never heard of it until a restaurant server in Annapolis mentioned it during a chat.
taken with my favorite combo: IR-converted XPro-1 and 16-55mm lens.

That's really interesting place to see and photograph Doc. I love IR and especially in B&W.

Here’s a few from a visit to Columcille in June and last week.

Just to add a non-IR perspective.

Very interesting - thanks for posting! It's only an hour away from my house in NJ so I plan to visit the area by this weekend.

Sorry, Curmudgeon, but B&W is SELDOM good. I wish I could see this in color so that I would know how they actually look!

People take photos in the hopes of making them turn out the way THEY want them to, not the way someone else wants them to look. Remember: Google is your best friend on the Internet....Use it to your benefit.

Thanks for the comments.
IMHO B&W....and especially IR...is the way to go here. It adds to the mysterious aura.
