I do not know why you continue to post your anger on the public forum. I sent you a respectful PM asking you to direct me to what ever posts seem to have lit you up so I could see what you were referring to.. Rather than that you continue on this path. I do not know who elected you high priest and keeper of the moral compass for the site.I have not ,to my knowledge ,in the few posts Ive made been disrespectful or rude . You sir have been both to me.
I much enjoy this forum for the vast amount of information and divergent views and opinions on topics. I will respond no further to any comments you direct to me in the forum . You have my PM and if you want to waste more time on this address your comments to me there.
To any others that may have taken offense to some post I apologize. I have re read them and can find no connection to the comment made by jwilliams0469.

Sorry, I don't feel that it was a humor comment. Simply referring a positive statement towards the unwanted post. That is not correct. Now if he was regarding it towards that of which how many had viewed the unwanted post, then yes, it would have been funny and he/she should have placed a smiley at the end of the sentence so I would have thought it through and got the humor. However, no smiley, no humor.

Sinatraman, you are very well respected by me!

[quote=dpullum]I do not directly disagree with your views, but rather I am solidly relaxed regarding my religious beliefs, morals and ethics. I shrug my shoulders at the world around me with a live and let live policy.

If a person has problems with alcohol it does not require that we reenact the 14 amendment! Relax and state calmly and be calm. I do not want you to get an ulcer, wanna keep you in this world doing fine photography. No one is attacking your beliefs or the late great JC sacrifice for mankind. But he recognized that there were other views and so must we all.

I agree with those who think "Rules" should be the same for everyone and that they should be kept or else move on to rules that you are more pleased with. BUT, I guess you never heard the my Lord, Jesus Christ, is still ALIVE and very well.
Perhaps we should pray for you and the other man who thought he was being funny.

hey i happen to think you are right and you should send a message to the admin. the rules are very clear and we all need to live by them, let us keep the hog as a refuge from all the crazyness vulgarity, moral decay and jerry springerness of the world. think of the hog as Mayberry. Oh and the reason so many people went all Church on you is that 80% of all americans identify themselves as christian. Some of us actually try and live the word and take our relationship with God very seriously. Having been raised an atheist and having lived for the world most of my life, I am proud that Jesus cared enough to find me and pull me out of the muck of sin. So i do take His command to live a holy life and dress modestly seriously. there has to be room on the internet for some g rated sites.

I find it odd that no one in this discussion has bothered to mention the transgression to the perpetrator. If she didn't read the fine of the rules before posting she simply made a mistake.

Since we all live in glass houses let's put down the stones until we really need them.

Thanks for the guidance and perspective sinatraman. I also have much respect for you ,as you were the first to reach out and provide me with information as I was getting started in photography . Also my thanks to those that that sent me PMs. I'll reach for the smiley face the next time my funny bone itches. Good advice.
It is apparent my efforts as a comedian are second only to my photograph skills in terms of their need for improvement.
I'll work on both with no guarantee either will have a stunning rapid improvement.

I learned the value of Peace in Vietnam

I'm ready to change lenses and move on .

She stated in her posting of the photo that she knew the rules said, no nudes....but.....she posted it anyway, with justification of why she felt she should be able to do so.

Sinatraman you will be pleased to know that I do not have Cable TV, rather watch off the air. My favorite is Retro,,, all those 1960's programs, like that wild gal, MTM, and that cad Rockford etc. Even Kojak and Bob Newhart.

Religious tolerance, and tolerance of other views is highly important. We should not go to war to impose our views, either one to one or as a country. One firm in their beliefs is simply that; quiet and comfortable. Hay Christianity is according to world stats out numbered; only 30% while pooled other is 70%! and that includes non-traditional christian religions. Be careful you are out numbered.

And ShakyShutter I do not live in a glass house,,, it was broken many years ago,, I thru a stone at someone while I was in my house,, like many here,,, glass houses are often broken from within throwing stones at others in unjustified rage.

I am signing off of this war of pseudo-morality and twisted rules and unjustified hate, not because i do not find it interesting to observe, but because I am going to relax and read about it in a book called "The Sociopath Next Door"... "A chilling accurate portrayal of evil - - the decent person's guide to indecency." 1 in 25 Americans Secretly have no conscience ... with out feelings of guilt".. by Martha Stout, ph.d.,,,sounds interesting.

Good evening, I will glace at the body count in the morning and light a candle for fallen souls and make no further comments. May one of the many gods of the world (not big G) have mercy on your cameras unused and gathering dust because of time spent fighting in the forum. My second Sony just arrived batteries charging or I would be using it to photograph that loveable nude cat that lives near by.

I don't see anything wrong with tasteful photography. And not all christians are what they would like you to believe. A good person is a good person it's is not based on whose house you stand in. Standing in a church doesn't make you a good christian just as standing in a garage doesn't make you a car. I didn't get to see the photo but I still stand on the opinion that if you don't want to see it don't look. I don't protest adult stores and I don't protest someone else's art. If the forum admin has rules in place they should be followed but all this adult bickering is childish. Just report it like it was let it be removed, say sorry and let it go.Kicking a dead horse does not make him run.

I don't care that I couldn't post the few that was planned ( no nudity, lingerie style boudoir). I think it is very disrespectful and that particular post should be deleted.
I did have the common decency to "ask before" posting. Then the forum turned into a miniature church! Wow?

I just cannot believe what this lead to! I meant no disrepect to anyone and truly felt that this image did not meet the criteria for nudity since nothing was showing. I am more than baffled at the negative comments and accusations that has come from a good many people here. If that is how you people are, I will plan to go elsewhere. If there was any lesson learned here, it was for me. I have nothing to lose.
