I purchased an iPhone 10xr last Christmas and it is quite the machine. But I still love playing with my cameras.

Just curious. Are any of you going to purchase the new iPhone 11, 11 Plus, or 11 Plus Max ? ?
If you are, is the new camera system any influence in your coming purchase?
I know many prefer other brands and their cameras, but this question is just about the Apple products.
(sorry for typo - Buying an iPhone ? ?)
No. I have an iPhone 7 Plus. I’m set until 5G service is available here, and iPhones support it. That’s late 2020 at the earliest.
After ten years with an iPhone, I’m not likely to do anything other than yawn at an Android phone, but I don’t need a new iPhone every year or two, either. 4-5 years seems about right.

I currently have the iPhone XS and find it a vast improvement over previous iPhones (had the 4, 6, & 8). The 11 Plus intrigued me, primarily because of the addition of a 3rd wide angle lens (in addition to a few other upgrades). However, the XS is a great phone with excellent photo capabilities so have decided not to upgrade for at least another year or more. In fact my phone carrier help convince me to wait!
I hear that Apple is moving to optimize the camera abilities of their product and the iPhone 11 represents their first big step. I have an iPhone XR and am very happy with it. If you go the iPhone 11 route, take s look at the top line model with its three lenses. That’s a big leap over the XR. Also you might check out Emile Pakarklis on YouTube to see what he does with an iPhone. It’s great stuff.

My Samsung Galaxy 7 works just fine for me. No need to upgrade. Will upgrade when 5G becomes ubiquitous but it won't be an iphone.
Like others above, I'm an iPhone 6s plus owner and am going to the new iPhone 11. The video capabilities look incredible. The new night mode is also interesting. I think another very important feature is the water resistance. I like to work around water and have ruined a couple of phones. I like the ability to dip it accidentally.
With my work I need and have two iPhones 6+ and 7+. Work requires to use a phone camera and these work just fine, for now. The new OS 13 will still work with the 6+, but nothing older, so since my wife has a iPhone 5 which is now no longer supported, she gets a new one this weekend. Most likely when I have to move up the 11pro is what it will be for the main line, and an 8+ for work. And NO, the camera is not an influence.

It seems lots of readers are waiting for the iPhone 11. "Snapshots vs photos" (prior reader comments) made me smile and shake my head. I want simple, less expensive, good snaps/photos...with a phone, LOL.
Will be visiting an Apple store soon and am considering the 8 vs 8+. Thanks for commenting. All comments provide info to consider. All valuable!
I am usually on the trailing edge of technology. Now that the iPhone 11 is out, earlier models (new, not used) will be available at a discount. I currently have a 6s that has served me well, but desire a larger screen.
Maybe. My husband has a iPhone 6. If he keeps it he will need to replace the battery. I may give him my iPhone XR and pick up the 11. Still discussing it.
7+ I don’t plan to upgrade

Is battery in iPhone 6 easily replaceable?

good question. I've heard Apple keeps us captive (buying new) by deleting battery availability. Hmmm.
I have a 5c and love it but fear it going the way of the dinosaur-LOL.

I’m with you Mac. Love my iPhone SE. Compact use most anywhere telephone. My iPad is my portable media consumption device. Absolutely no plan/intention to upgrade to iPhone 7, 8,10,11 in any of the iterations.
