Yes Bill_de, I'm sure you found his article very interesting and informative, but my post...not so much. I enjoy reading Thom Hogan's articles a lot, which was the reason for my post (that you didn't find interesting). Well, I guess you didn't catch my drift. I might be getting a D850 next week and also planning a African Safari so I can check it out. I'm gonna call it..."my D850 on an African Safari".

Mirrorless bodies are coming of age.

I used Olympus OMD EM1 MKII bodies for 12 days in Tanzania in April. One had the Panasonic 100-400 and the second body had a 12-100 Pro Olympus lens.

Shot a lot of low light images at 6400 ISO that have some noise but most of it has cleaned up in LR.
