Our local Lab in town just closed their door's due to retirement. Any suggestion on to where I should get my photo's printed? I know I can use Walgreens in a pinch, just want to keep the professional I had before.
COSTCO does a quality job. You can profile your computer to match the prints you will receive. You can also yet their correction.
After "firing" no less than 5 labs, I decided to go with Costco. I'm completely happy. Easy online ordering (Don't like ROES), super-cheap, fast delivery to my house, and the prints look great. For my purposes (I like to print a LOT for my personal use) Costco fills the bill. For clients, I use Pixieset and fulfill through Millers.

Adorama Pix in NYC is not bad and relatively fast. I have used them on 3 occasions.
You are close to them and should get rapid service where I am located in Maryland but would still use them.
Hope this was helpful.

You would not. I was responding to someone who warned everyone to stay away because he had one big order (two 5 x 7s) that didn't work out.

Never had a problem with Nations Photo
I use Nations Photo Lab and I have been very happy with them.

Do not use Walgreens, I called them about developing some negs and printing them, they put your negs on a disk and throw the film away, you don't get the film back.

Would that be akin to having a camera do a lousy job on a couple of images and then switching brands?

The question you need to answer is do you want inkjet prints or true silver halide prints? All big box stores now do inkjet. The only silver halide operations are some local establishments and the big pro labs but even then you should call and ask.
I don't know were you are located but two i know of are Paul’s Photo in Torrance, CA and Fromex in Long Beach, CA.
Nations Photo Lab in Maryland--they do nice work and run half-price sales about half the time.
I’ve been using Bay Photo for about three years. Not a heavy user. Have had great results and excellent customer service
Costco and they have done good work for me.
