Welcome to UHH Keith, glad you joined us. The D810 would be a very good choice. Don't forget the FF glass that goes along with a full frame camera.

Greetings from NJ . I’m a semi professional meaning I’m not full paid not an I just starting out. I think great pics come from photographers that know how to use their equipment. A Photograph is a picture that your eyes see but your heart feels. I can be a quick grab shot or planned out with very expensive equipment. So I could use a cell phone or the most expensive full lens or mirrorless camera. It is the photographer who knows his or her equipment. They know composition & lighting . Lightning can be natural or artificial. The final product has to touch your heart to be considered great.
