Hey all, i`ve always had an interest in photography. I bought a Nikon f2a back in the late 70`s with dreams of being a photographer for Hot rod magazine. Instead I began to work on cars, and my camera became an on and off again thing.
now with digital, I can take a couple hundred pic`s and delete the ones I don`t like! How awesome is that!
I have a Nikon d3300 with 2 prime lenses. I have a 50mm 1.8 nikon and a Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro that I love shooting with. I`ve had this camera for about 3 years now and i`m thinking of getting a used Nikon d810. Read some good reviews on it and have been looking at a used one. Anyway, i`m having fun learning, also learning how to edit in Lightroom. So many videos on Youtube as well.

Thanks for reading-Keith

My personal chose is the D500, but what ever floats your boat.

Welcome. The D810 will serve you well as I'm sure your D3300 has. I started with a D3300 and loved it. Looking forward to your posts.

Welcome to UHH Keith. The D810 is a great camera, and will serve you well. Check out KEH and MPB for a used D810. Both of them give 6 month warranties on their used cameras. You may find a good deal on a D810 refurbed by Nikon.

I believe you have a crop sensor camera. If you go to the 810 you will need full frame lens.
And they are more expensive. Just a thought improve you journey and learning with the camera
you have. And those Youtube videos are usually good people giving good information about your
camera and photography. Good luck.
