I was recently in East Greenland shooting a documentary, and managed to sneak away for a bit with my still camera. This represents my vision of HDR, neither overcooked nor too photorealistic. This was shot with a Samyang 8mm fisheye. I'm not a fan of fisheyes, but it was the only way to get the angle I wanted. I used a Photoshop plugin to straighten the verticals, though this leaves horizontal lines bowed. I am also uploading a similar shot done with a rectilinear UWA. Also nice, but I like the streak of sunlight in the snow in the fisheye. Both processed from 9 exposures handheld, 1 EV apart, in Photomatix Pro. Different processing parameters, different feeling, but both work for me.
