Not bad; you just should have been closer originally - the sharpness would have been better.
On my computer the color on your original is perfect. For a long time I was always making skin to red or over saturated. On this one as you made your adjustments it changed skin and the grass and for me became unrealistic.
I am not familiar with your software, I used Photoshop CC. I decided to work on this one just to see if I could do as good as you did removing the hose. Yours looked so good I had to give it a try. After I got that done using the cloning tool I decided to go all the way with other edits to see what I could get. I opened up shadows over all. I added another layer and opened up shadows some more over individual faces. I then tried to add sharpness using High pass filter with a setting of 1.0 and set the layer to Soft Light. This layer added too much harness over all so I added a mask and applied the sharpness to just eyes, mouths and women's hair. For me this picture now looks a bit more natural. Interested to see if you feel the same way.

Thanks for taking the time to work on my image. Yes, your image does look more natural and realistic. It looks just as it was on that day -- it was overcast and a tad dreary. And you removed the mystery fingers!
