Quartzite is one of those places (like Holbrook) that I'm still trying to figure out why anyone goes there. But I know lots of people love it! Nice pictures.

So, you condemn people for destroying the desert environment, yet you condone the very same behavior by "staying on forest roads, etc." That someone had to build into that environment. You cannot have it both ways.

The only attraction I know of for Holbrook is that it's close to Petrified Forest and Painted Desert.
