The Golden did not do well with me gone, She is my better half and I hers. :)
She whined and cried and shook next to me, gently. And she is not even mine lol.
The Surgeon had no problems finding the leak in the Dura. It was quite large and another surgeon was on hand to help stem the flow while the other cleared the way.
Seems The Dura was rubbing against the bone graft, causing it to thin and weaken, and then when I sneezed or coughed hard it popped, filling the lumbar space with fluid.
He made up some medical glue with fiber and layered it on to make the wall of the Dura thicker.
The most painful part of the process was laying flat for 48 hours and trying to pee in a bottle every 2 hours lol. Some idiot inflated the folly cath before it was inside the bladder, so I had it removed right away lol.
Will be weeks before I am allowed to twist, bend, walk fast, or anything else. Wearing an abdominal wrap as well.
So this is a great time to weed out my photography collection :)

While I never went through that kind of surgery, I knew you could do it. And you came out fabulous. I have always believed photographers are made of sterner stuff. Now you have to follow the rehab doctors rules. They might stink but pay attention and you'll be back as good as new.
The only surgery I remember was my circumcision when I was 3 days old. I wasn't happy about it because no body asked my opinion!
