Thanks to all and to Dave in particular for pointing me to Lightroom's cloning tool.

De nada. You're welcome. My fix was to surround the spot with a Clone circle just big enough to enclose it, set it to have about 10% Feathering, and clone an area just to the right of the spot, moving it around a little until the edge was not visible. (Do this with the image enlarged.) It was only a few minutes work, and was surprisingly effective. (Of course, the fix did not "remove" the spot, it just replaced it with something similar without it.)

Metropolitan Milwaukee Sewer district reported that Lake Michigan is 18 inches than last summer, due to the heavy snowfall and Spring rains, besides the Lakes being in their high water cycle.

Atwater Beach used to feature a building with changing rooms, concessions and a rooftop terrace plus a tram lift besides the winding pathway. The tram was closed by the time I lived in Shorewood during the '80's but the building remained. All of that is now gone, replaced by the wooden steps for those not wanting to walk the path with only the old gateway building at the top of the stairs. On a clear day one can see the Sheboygan power plant 47 miles to the north.

The Russsians moved to Milwaukee's East Side during the '80's, sponsored by various churches. Many resided in the River Park Ct apartments on Shorewood's southern border, even running a short-lived Russian restaurant across Oakland Ave in the 3510 building. A Russian store on East Capitol Dr closed a few years ago as did a small one on Oakland next to the current Three Lion's Pub. Few Russians have remained, possibly moved to Brookfield?

Thank you -- wasn't aware of Shorewood's Russian history.
