Very moving. The ending was a complete surprise for me.
I suspected, because he had dark glasses on, that he may be blind also.;
I was moved to tears when I watched this. I have showed this to family and friends. I would watch the expression on their faces and wipe the tears from their cheeks. This is a very moving video that highlights life is what you wish it to be.

Thanks to you and to all. I agree with you about making life what you wish it to be. Years ago someone told me that life is what you make it. If you are having a bad day then it is your fault and nobody else can change it but you. The sun still came up, you woke up, your friends are still your friends and so on. If someone cuts you off in traffic that situation is but a few seconds out of the day. Why allow it to ruin what is otherwise a wonderful day. That is what I mean when I say the day is what we make of it. I have tried to live with that thought for years now. Does it work every time. Sorry but it doesn't. But at least I can direct my anger to me and if I give a smile a chance it normally wins out over the anger.
Thanks again,
Dennis

I'm sorry,
but I'm confused over the final scene, the young chap couldn't have been blind?
Sorry. Both men are blind. The first man is older and it is extremely obvious that he is blind. The second man it is not as obvious. There are some clues that are deceptive and subtle. First, He is wearing sunglasses on a sunny day. Second, when the older man asks the younger man to describe what he sees, the younger man is "looking" towards the older man's mouth not his face. Third, when the older man asks the younger man to describe what he "sees" he waits and is thinking rather than looking around. Fourth, The scenes the younger man "sees" are actually his imagination listening to the subtle sounds and his thoughts crafting a picture.
It is important to see this several times to discover the story behind the video. I didn't understand the final scene until I watched a friend become startled by second man walking away.
Our lives are what we wish and make it to be.
Lake Balboa us a good guess. Cameron Burnett, the director, is located in Los Angeles. "The Bench" is covered on the IMDB website.
Was able to figure out the plot when I first watched it. A great feel good story.
This is beautiful. Made me cry. Thank you for sharing this.
