I think we can all agree that Nikon is a very good company that offers exceptional customer service.

I know nothing about their customer service - so not everyone agrees anything about Nikon.

Really. Well, I do know something about Nikon's customer service. I have been using it for over 45 years. And I am glad to report to you that they have never let ME down.
Time and time again, when I have called them with a legitimate concern, they were there to help and support me.
I even get free shipping from them if it's not done right the first time.
I am sure Canon and Sony users have had similar stories.
Companies that do not offer good customer support do not last long.

You really don’t need to know anything about Nikon customer service. I know enough for both of us.

You must agree that they never let you down. Over 20+ years using Nikon I sent 4 items in for repair.
35-70 F/2.8 repaired for $400 and still going strong.
28-70 F/2.8 repaired for $400 and died a few weeks after warranty ended ... Nikon said too bad.
A battery grip for D7200 under warranty was lost for a while, but eventually they found and fixed it.
800mm F/5.6 returned to me twice, not repaired. Third time they said Melville couldn't actually work on it, so they sent it to Nikon Labs in Japan. It came back repaired but I then had to do an AF fine tune. Before the repair it was perfect. After being without it for six months I wasn't about to send it back again.
Realistically, over 20 years and over 20 lenses it's not too bad.

But “we can all agree” only if we all
know.

By definition
we do not
all agree if I do not agree - and I’m guessing a lot of Canon and Sony users don’t agree also.

But I still THINK we can all agree. Maybe we don’t, but we could.

We
could all agree on lots of things, such as superiority of Canon or Sony ...... but we don’t.

Nikon is not exclusively cameras and lenses. We forget it also makes many imaging and other products for health, medicine, research and industry. A list can be found here at the following link. I was surprised at some of the products.
https://www.nikon.com/products/I imagine Canon also has other product lines besides cameras, lenses and printers.

and I hope
we can
all also agree that Canon and Sony are equally really good.
There are reasons Nikon does not dominate the photographic world.
