Maybe it's because you're not making any other money ?
Had you invested intelligently, you'd at least have income from there, wouldn't you.
Never saw so many people so proud that they don't make 25K.

So your defense is: It's not Reagans fault that Reagan signed the bill.
That's interesting.

No it's Reagan's fault that he signed the bill trusting that the Democrats would follow through with commitments to deal with the later influx of i*****l i*******ts that was sure to follow.

Let’s see. You are a psychologist, a psychiatrist, a financial advisor and an accountant. There is just one little hitch. My financial situation is really none of your damn business now is it.

No it isn't. In fact if your using food stamps, as I'm someone who pays a lot in taxes, I'm proud to help you eat.

Well Frank, when you are right I guess I have to agree. They said I had to pay into SS, a tax. The Feds kept it for 55 years, now they are sending it back in small chunks and taxing those taxes. I forgot the $140 a month yanked out for Medicare.

That's odd. It's subject to federal income tax so you really need to check that out.
Either that or you're just a liar.

Or it's possible you're living only on your ss check. I know you republicans love those handouts.

For the 2019 tax year, single filers with a combined income of $25,000 to $34,000 must pay income taxes on up to 50% of their Social Security benefits. ... For married couples filing jointly, you will pay taxes on up to 50% of your Social Security income if you have a combined income of $32,000 to $44,000
That's odd. It's subject to federal income tax so... (show quote)

You don't even know how taxes work.

Social security benefits are only taxable if you have other retirement income or work at a part time job. If S.S is your only source of income then you are not subject to income tax on that benefit.

I gave up on VA health care 49 years ago. At that time I could not get good care, weeks of waiting and entire days sitting in waiting rooms, only to be treated by Indian doctors and Phillipino nurses doing on the job training.

I keep telling him to read books and learn that words mean things.

He won’t listen.
